Calon Wakil Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat (Tanjabbar) periode 2024-2029, M Amin, secara resmi bergabung dengan Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI). Bergabungnya M Amin dengan PSI diumumkan dalam acara pengenalan kader baru yang diselenggarakan partai pimpinan Kaesang Pangarep itu. PSI, bersama NasDem dan Unmat, merupakan salah satu partai pengusung pasangan Hairan-Amin dalam Pilkada Tanjabbar mendatang.

M Amin, yang dikenal sebagai tokoh penting di Tanjabbar, mengungkapkan sejumlah alasan yang mendorongnya untuk memilih PSI. Menurutnya, partai ini menawarkan platform yang relevan dengan cita-cita Indonesia Emas 2045, khususnya dalam upaya membangun generasi muda yang produktif dan kreatif.

"Alasan saya masuk PSI adalah karena beberapa platform partai ini sangat cocok untuk mencapai Indonesia Emas 2045, terutama dalam membangun pemuda yang produktif dan kreatif," ungkap Amin.

Lebih lanjut, M Amin juga menyoroti integritas dan nuansa kekeluargaan dalam PSI. Baginya, PSI menawarkan ruang politik yang setara dan inklusif, di mana setiap anggota diperlakukan sama tanpa hierarki yang kaku.

"Saya merasa di PSI ini, ruh kekeluargaannya sangat mendalam. Di sini, kita dibuat untuk setara, tanpa ada perbedaan. Komunikasi yang terbuka ini sangat menarik dalam perjuangan politik," jelasnya.

Dalam pandangannya, PSI dapat menjadi kendaraan politik yang tepat untuk mewujudkan aspirasi masyarakat Tanjabbar, termasuk dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi daerah tersebut.

"Saya berharap, bersama PSI, kita dapat mengentaskan kemiskinan di Tanjabbar. Dengan platform dan jaringan yang dimiliki PSI, saya optimis kita bisa membawa perubahan yang nyata," tambah Amin.

Ketika ditanya mengenai keputusannya meninggalkan PDI Perjuangan, Amin menjelaskan bahwa ia membutuhkan partai yang memberinya ruang untuk berbuat lebih banyak bagi masyarakat. PDI Perjuangan sendiri memilih untuk mengusung pasangan Cici Halimah dan Muklis dalam Pilbup Tanjabbar, yang mendorong Amin mencari wadah politik baru.

"Bagi saya, berpolitik adalah untuk berbuat. Jika partai kita tidak memberikan ruang, maka kita perlu mencari partai yang mendukung langkah kita untuk berbuat bagi masyarakat," tegasnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua DPW PSI Provinsi Jambi, Tigor Sinaga, menegaskan bahwa dukungan PSI kepada pasangan Hairan-Amin telah melalui tahapan seleksi yang ketat. PSI yakin bahwa pasangan ini mampu membawa perubahan positif bagi Tanjabbar.

Dengan bergabungnya M Amin, PSI berharap dapat memperkuat perjuangan politik di Tanjabbar dan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pembangunan daerah ke depannya.(*)
