Jalan Tol Layang Pertama di Jambi Siap Jadi Kebanggaan Baru, Percepat Konektivitas dan Dongkrak Ekonomi

Jambi segera memiliki jalan tol layang pertama yang menghubungkan Tol Tempino Simpang Ness dengan Jalan Lintas Timur Sumatera, mempercepat arus lalu lintas dan mendongkrak ekonomi provinsi.

Jambi – Provinsi Jambi akhirnya akan memiliki jalan tol layang pertama, yang diharapkan menjadi kebanggaan masyarakat Jambi. Tol layang ini merupakan bagian dari proyek Jalan Tol Tempino Simpang Ness, yang saat ini pengerjaannya sedang dikebut.

Jalan Tol Tempino Simpang Ness, sepanjang 19 km, merupakan bagian dari ruas Tol Betung-Jambi Seksi 4, yang menjadi bagian integral dari Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera (JTTS), menghubungkan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Jambi. Tol ini diharapkan mampu mempercepat arus lalu lintas, mengurangi kemacetan, dan memperkuat koneksi antarwilayah, termasuk akses ke Jalan Lintas Timur Sumatera.

Pembangunan tol layang ini juga akan menghubungkan ruas Tol Bayung Lencir Tempino Seksi 3, yang pengerjaannya telah selesai dan kini tinggal menunggu waktu untuk dioperasikan. Dengan tersambungnya kedua ruas tol tersebut, perjalanan di antara kedua provinsi ini akan menjadi lebih cepat dan efisien.

Proyek Jalan Tol Layang Tempino Simpang Ness ini juga akan terhubung dengan interchange Sebapo di Km 18, Desa Muaro Sebapo, Mestong, Muaro Jambi. Pembangunan tol ini saat ini sedang dalam tahap awal, dengan proses land clearing, penimbunan, pemadatan tanah, serta pemancangan tiang atau paku bumi di sekitar perbatasan ruas Tol Betung-Jambi Seksi 3 dan 4.

Bagi masyarakat yang melintas di area perbatasan ruas tol tersebut, tepatnya di Km 18, dapat melihat pekerja sedang melakukan pemancangan tiang sebagai bagian dari pengerjaan tol layang. Lokasi tol ini nantinya akan membelah Jalan Lintas Timur Sumatera, dengan posisi strategis di Km 18 Jalan Lintas Timur Jambi-Palembang, Desa Muaro Sebapo.

Kehadiran Tol Layang Tempino Simpang Ness diharapkan bukan hanya sebagai infrastruktur modern yang memperlancar arus lalu lintas, tetapi juga sebagai simbol kemajuan Provinsi Jambi, yang setara dengan provinsi lain di Sumatera. Selain itu, tol ini juga diharapkan mampu mendongkrak perekonomian daerah, membuka akses yang lebih luas untuk distribusi barang dan jasa, serta mempermudah mobilitas masyarakat.

Dalam jangka panjang, jika ruas Tol Tempino Simpang Ness tersambung sepenuhnya, proyek ini akan dilanjutkan dan terhubung dengan Jalan Tol Jambi-Rengat, yang saat ini sedang dalam tahap Penetapan Lokasi (Penlok). Dengan jaringan tol yang semakin luas, Jambi diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu pusat ekonomi baru di Sumatera, yang didukung oleh infrastruktur transportasi yang modern dan efisien.(*)
